Deleting/Importing Joinable NPCs

I know in BG1, they needed to be in the .gam file, else if they joined major crashing would result when you try to save or transition areas.

Also must the PCs still start in IWD and teleport Irenicus' deungeon?  If so, is 'startare.2da' being brought over?  Then again, it might not work...

IWD2 does not actually seem to use its GAM file (or something) -- for example, the starting area defined in it is wrong. If someone wants to look into the possibility of creating a new GAM file with the BG2 NPCs in it, we could try. I tried in the past but was unable to come up with a GAM file that IWD2 thought was "valid".

Ah, I think I see what you are saying. IWD2 does have a STARTARE.2DA. I don't know if it is being used (presumably, since the GAM file isn't for the starting area). I also don't care about this now. That's a "finishing touch" in my book.
