Any news?
« on: November 19, 2003, 06:54:42 PM »
Now that my qual exam and PLDI submission are out of the way, I have a bit of free time again. Since I can once again form coherent sentences, I find myself wondering:

How is it going?

Many moons ago it was suggested that the mighty and creative workshop would churn for a while and then magically produce a number of flirts, dialogues and associated dance numbers. Possibly all at once, possibly a few at a time. I would then look over them, yada yada, and eventually package them up somehow (perhaps as a separate option in the sola mod, perhaps in a second bundle placed near the first, probably based to some degree on how suitable things were for all audiences). Is this still the plan? Are there compelted flirts ready to be boxed up?

[ Finally, if you've been trying to reach me via the personal message system here, I must apologize: I can never actually read them. Send me email directly instead. ]

Congratulations on passing your exams!

There is indeed life in the workshop threads, though I watched it only for a month or so... A dozen or more dialogue ideas and flirts appeared in that time and they are quite differnet in style. I am sure you will like some of them...

We're still writing flirts, dialogues, etc. :) Tsuru has had some RL issues so she hasn't been able to do much coding lately, but as far as the Workshop is concerned the flirts will still be put together.

And I second the congrats on the exams. :)

I know that Tsuru comes here almost daily to collect the flirts for coding and such.  I can tell you that there will be a large assortment different flirts, as there is some wonderful talent here!

Congrats on the exams!!!
