Yes, dogs are considerably less demanding, and cats don't do anything except sleep.

For me, this is a very tiny amount of animals. At one point when I lived in Maryland I had 3 dogs, 3 cats, 30 or so guinea pigs (I bred them and then couldn't bear to sell them ok?), hamsters, two parakeets, a chinchilla and a bratty cockatiel. Just call me Noah :)

I'm happy to say that once again I concede. One dog, one cat, and their attendant dust bunnies are enough for me.

Congratulations to the WWs for hijacking yet another thread. Sigh.

Threads exist to be hijacked. It's not like there's so much discussion going on here that we really need strict adherence to thread titles in order to keep things sane.

Anyone who has been around this particular block a few times knows that any thread with more than 20 replies that is not entitled "Valen Romance?" is necessarily off-topic. :-)

By the way, what does WW stand for in this context? Normally I know what it means, but when I use it it's never plural. :-)

By the way (part 2!), look for a Lisa-Kiki collab dialogue in the next Sola release ... as soon as I figure out how to reword it to avoid the phrase "rather flimsy excuse to be close to you". :-)

By the way (part 3!), I'm thinking of gathering up a copy of Lisa's image and fanfic, Domi et al.'s Turnips and Jason's Cloakwood squares and making a little page containing all extend Solaufien "fandom". Does anyone object strenuously? Attribution will be retained, yada yada.  Are there any works that I'm missing?

Sorry, darlin', that's a closely held secret ;)  (Did he just give us permission to hijack away? LOL!)

The web page idea is good, I'd love to see something like that!

I goofed off talking to a certain Jason C. on AIM for a while
You know, I seem to take an inordinate amount of blame around here. From you. Lisa.

Wes: Yes, "fandom" page sounds like a good idea. While we're talking, what about breaking that gallery out somewhere else? It's always struck me funny that clicking any of the other portrait links takes you to the page/DL section, but for Solaufein you get the gallery.

No?

Yes.  Thread drift is as inevitable as planetary rotation.

How about, "Ulterior motive" rather than flimsy excuse?

Lisa, since we strayed so far anyways...

You grew up in Phoenix right? Do you recall Wallace & Ladmo? I'm currently being subjected to a retrospective on them (moan) ... that theme song, help me!

Yes, a large portion of my childhood was in Arizona (mostly Phoenix.)  And yes, God help me, I remember Wallace and Ladmo.  I was even on the show once.  *groan*

Strangely, I don't remember the theme song at all.  But you have my sincerest sympathies.  I suggest you feign a case of the trots and spend the rest of the evening hiding in the bathroom with a book.

I have regained possession of the remote..LOL! Does the tune "hee hee haa haa ho ho haha" ring a bell? Eeep! That thing haunts me...I don't recall any childhood tv shows I watched in Maryland doing that to me ;)  Oh, himself just said to tell you there's a website for them. Eeep. (makes note to self to remember to hide the remote next Tuesday)

I was feeling as though we had wandered into someone's house while they were gone, raided the fridge, and put our feet up on the furniture. But he seems to have come home and not minded too much. :) We'll clean up the mess before we leave, promise.

No, it does not stand for Weimer's Women.

Hey! That's what it was, wasn't it? I'll call a spade a grope when I see one.
