Something I thought I'd mention...

Okay, here's bug taht I found concerning Spirit Trolls.  With my Greater Werewolf, I hit them down (get the 12000 experience), then, as they fall down, I got Edwin to hit the Troll with an Acid Arrow.  The Troll died again, giving me another 12000 experience.

Another thing concerning Trolls is now that, for some reason, I seem to be able to hit them dead.  Was this originally intended?  If I coordinate the Acid Arrow right, you can easily get more experience.  Even in case I don't, there is still a red circle around the fallen Troll.  TAB give me: Spirit Troll, Dead.  He then dies after about 3 seconds.

                   Or he gets back to full health and you'll have to fight him again. I'v had those multiple times in the D'Arnise Keep.

Spirits trolls "die"  and when you press TAB it says "Dead" then of course i cast a "Acid arow/Fire arow" and that doesnt even hurt him. He doesnt die at all from fire or an acid attack  then a few seconds later he's back to full health again. Then you fight him again and he dies normally from Fire or Acid.

It seems that it is only with the Spirit Trolls.

                   This bug is present in unmodded BG2 as well, it's just harder to see. It's an artifact of the way the infinity engine handles trolls.

You get the double XP normally using a weapon that inflicts level drain (e.g., blackrazor).

                   Someone else has reported this bug, but since I can't seem to reproduce it locally I'm not sure how to fix it. :-(

It doesn't seem half as bad in IWD2(Or even IWD/HoW, methinks?), though ;_;

                   I had mentioned it, too. The problem is that it doesn't happen all the times, and I can't tell what goes wrong. Once I got rid of that by by reloading the Auto Save game, while there was another time when I had to start from an earlier game, like before entering the Keep.

I've seen this as well, and at first thought it had something to do with the fact that Spirit Trolls always seem to come in pairs. I would drop both trolls as quickly as possible, then fireball them, seemed to work fine.
