When you arrive to the Glade with Pontephix, he gives you the Preserving Boots...
Very useful against all those Shadowstalkers and Skulls, but my question is about the "Immunity to Dispelling Effects"...
When i wear the boots, i see a "Spell Immunity" Icon on my portrait and Character Record screen.
Does this mean that the boots grants you permanent SI:ABJ?!
Because that is really unbalancing...

He says it will also block True Seeing.  That can't be just Immunity: Abjuration.

Do you mean it's BOTH SI : ABJ and SI : DIV?!
That would be...  :o

Maybe it's just specific protections, like
Immunity to effect - True Sight
Immunity to effect - Remove Magic
Immunity to effect - Dispel Magic
etc...

Wes?

It provides immunity to a few specific spells and effects. For example, it will block dispel magic from the spell or from a holy avenger. It is not "Spell Immunity: School" for any school. Note that this is hardly the first time some generic icon has been re-used in the game. :-)

So what spells would the Boots save me from?
Remove Magic
Dispel Magic
True Sight

What else?
Spoil me!

Yes, all of those. If you're really curious, why not try it out in the game?
