Irenicus in the Asylum - Now killable

Not a bug exactly, but Valen is able to kill Irenicus in the Asylum (level drain) before he unmasks himself. This prevents the plot from advancing further. Not a bug, so much as a note for interested parties.

This was the case originally.  One of the Baldurdash fixes solves killing him with damage, but may not address the possibility of massive level drain.

Hmm.. interesting. I never knew that - I just sometimes like to test Valen out in odd situations.

You mean that SOA is finished just after killing it in the asylum : no bodhi quest, no suldanessalar, no hell ?  :blink:

If the Coordinator dies before unmasking himself, there you stand, with an Imoen who won't respond, until you reload.

Basically, I'd found my way to the asylum, and entered to get the co-ordinator who offered to show me the way to Imoen.

For a laugh, I decided to unleash psycho-girlfriend Valen on him. He died messily, and then I'm just forced to wander around, without being able to complete the adventure...

Reload and speak nicely to him, is the answer.
