In the current ascension.tra there are two endings for Sarevok.
One where he is still evil, one where he is a troubled man.
Since you're mentioning it, I was asking myself if this is right or if it wouldn't be better to have three epilogues. I asked it to Wesley Weimer too, and he told me to post it here. :-)
I'd see these three endings.
1.
Condition: Sarevok's still CE.
Epilogue: The epilogue marked as @82726 in ascension.tra
2.
Condition: Sarevok has started changing alignment but did not change it OR Sarevok become CG but player become a god, leaving him "alone".
Epilogue: The epilogue marked as @82725 in ascension.tra, where he is a troubled man, unsure of himself. He frees a city of orcs, then conquers another city with mercenaries... only to run away... he's still unsure of what to do with his life, because either (a) he did not fully change or (B) he changed, but the player choose the divine road, leaving him alone with a load of questions in his head. :-)
3.
Condition: Sarevok is CG AND player remains mortal.
Epilogue: They keep traveling together, as Sarevok's words suggest in his last dialogue when the player chooses to remain mortal.
He says he looks forward to travel with "charname", if he/she will wish it.
After "charname" made him change and renounced to his/hers divinity, why shouldn't he/she travel with him for a while? :-)
I was gonna write a draft of an ending where Sarevok has renounced to his evil plans and travels for a while with "charname" before doing something else (which I already have in mind).
What do you people think? :-)
Am I crazy, or does indeed Sarevok need another ending for having changed to CG? :-)
Bye!
