Installation timing?...
« on: August 09, 2002, 12:44:35 AM »
Greetings all-

First, immense gratitude to W for the incredible effort here.  I'm beginning my first playthrough with these mods.

However, I installed the Valen mod before my first voluntary visit to the Graveyard but *after* Nalia's father's funeral and Valens first proposal to visit Bodhi.  Now, I go to the graveyard and there's no meeting with Bodhi.  No hint of it in fact.  Did the Valen mod need to be installed before she first addresses the party?  Is there anything I can change/edit using Shadowkeeper which will initiate the first meeting with Bodhi so I may find and invite Valen?

Any info any of ye forum readers may posess would be welcome.

Again, many thanks-

Edit your baldur.ini file to contain the line,
Debug Mode=1
then go into the game, and, while standing in the graveyard at night, press CTRL-Space and type:
CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("Bodhi")

You're probably just there at the wrong time, but as long as it's not actually day, that will work.

I'll try that- my thanks to you.  However, I went to the graveyard at night, at midnight, waited *until* nightfall in the slums and then went to the graveyard... something was just not kosher!  =)

I once had the same problem with zero mods installed. When I created Bodhi with the console, she just stood there and did not initiate dialogue, nor could I initiate dialogue with her. Eventually, I reloaded a saved game from a few game days earlier, and then everything was normal.
