PPG Photo Album
« on: April 17, 2004, 08:44:38 PM »
Now you, too, can admire St. Josephine's hair, Aurora's taste in wildlife, and all the modding community's most dazzling couches in action! Check it out at: http://photo.pocketplane.net.

Some of the photos were taken from the old FWP album, which doesn't seem to have been revived yet, while others were graciously submitted to Icelus. Thank you, shiny happy/scowling people!!!

If you're a forum member and you'd like to submit a picture for the album, I'd love to add you. E-mail me, Bons, the picture at llamababe@carolina.rr.com. I'll resize anything larger than 640x640, so don't worry if it's a big file.

(To remove or update a picture that's in the album, please e-mail me as well.)
Newt had always suspected that people who regularly used the word "community" were using it in a very specific sense that excluded him and everyone he knew.

I'll be sure and let Glain know that she does not exist on PPG.  I'm sure she'll love to hear that.  :(

Everyone in the album is a member of PPG.  They may not spam post as much as you, but they are members.

And yes, Blue is there by way of Dungeon-Be-Gone.

Check the Cailean thread - we've been oohing and ahhing over g'lain's voice clips for Masalina.

In fact, you posted a comment about her voicing.

We're not riduculing you, discharger. We'd just like you to pay more attention to what you post. It would have made this exchange unnecessary.

Ah, I remember now, It's just that she seldom post.

Believe it or not, I do read almost every post in a thread before I myself post. Most of the time it turns into junk :P

Sigh..

Why are there people who are not even in PPG?
Because, at some point, they contributed to what PPG was before it became what it is.. yeah.  ;)

I wonder if the number of female pictures means that the female community is larger than Bioware thought, or that women or less concerned with hiding themselves online than men?

It could have something to do with this being home of Kelsey and the Flirtpacks.

Sounds like the name of a band.  :)

I'm not sure I'd download and install anything made by someone looking like me in that pic, though.  ;)

I wonder if the number of female pictures means that the female community is larger than Bioware thought, or that women or less concerned with hiding themselves online than men?

Bioware remains convinced that their buying audience is only about 10% female, even today (ref: my interview with Gaider and director of design James Ohlen in January 2004.)

So either they're wrong (possible), or women are "over-represented" in active contributions to BG2 fandom (likely) or both.
