Xan class change in EEt not working

I configured my EET run to change Xan's class to Fighter/Mage, but when I recruit him in BG 1, he is still an Enchanter. How is the class change component supposed to interact in EET, is it supposed to work at all?

This BG2 mod adds Xan as effectively a new creature, even on an EET run, since there is no specifically coded NPC continuity. You would hav to manually change his class with EE Keeper.
