Bug Report - Contact Other Plane - Character disappearing dialog bug

Had a potentially game breaking bug where a player character completely disappears from the game after picking a certain dialog option. I don't know if there's any console command solution to get yourself out of this predicament?

Attempted resolution:
Moving to the edge of a map prompts "You must gather your party before..." preventing you to reset the party elsewhere.
Running a console command to teleport elsewhere does not restore the missing character.
For example doing CLUAConsole:MoveToArea("AR2100") to teleport to Kuldahar.

Reproduction:
1. Cast "Contact Other Plane"
2. Select option 4 "I seek powerful magic. Where may I find it?"
3. Severn comments on the topic
4. Severn disappears from the game.

Only way to fix seems to be to reload a previous save.

I think you fell victim to the "interjecting NPC performs action of the original creature" bug: whatever the answering spirit is, the dialogue is probably handled by an invisible creature that disappears after the dialogue is done. Severn interjects in a way that technically, he performs any actions after the creature's line of text - so he disappears instead.
I will look at it when I'll find the time.
Until then: load an earlier save - I hope that's an option - and don't ask that question with Severn in party.

Yeah I had a save backup. Interesting bug and tricky if it doesn't have any known recovery aside removing a character then readding them to the party. Thanks for the input!

Theoretically, one could look up he variables that are set upon the NPC's interjection, and set it by hand beforehand so the probelmatic interjection won't happen although the NPC stays in party.
