REQUIRE_COMPONENT modComponent INT value from a variable?
« on: February 06, 2021, 05:24:44 AM »
Hi,

Assuming that we have a variable called ID = 111, does REQUIRE_COMPONENT can read modComponent INT value from a variable?

Like this: REQUIRE_COMPONENT "Mod.tp2" "%ID%" "No Mod 111" ?

Currently, it displays an error but maybe I'm missing something?

REQUIRE_COMPONENT does not currently evaluate variables. I'll add it to the list. Circular dependencies are fun; I'll see what I can do.

Does adding support for evaluating variables for REQUIRE_COMPONENT is touching the same surface that would also allow for having an evaluation of other things like ID_OF_LABEL? If yes, can you kill two birds with one stone?
