Thief Guild after Betraying Renal Bloodscalp

I like the opportunity to betray Renal Bloodscalp.  I'm playing through it currently but after the betrayal do you still receive the thief stronghold?

I'm asking because I betrayed Renal but now both the new guy, Larel I think his name is, and Mae'var don't offer it.  Is it something that happens later on?

I'm playing a cleric/thief as my main character.
