<ME> / <US> for Weidu
« on: June 21, 2015, 07:54:21 AM »
Sometimes when writing dialogues, we want the protagonist to be able to refer to him/herself as "me" if alone or "us" if in a group.  Is there any weidu code to auto input this without having to add additional dialogue options to account for being alone or in a group?

Thanks.

There is already an in-game method to set custom tokens via SetToken() script action. Custom tokens are not saved however, so you have to set the token whenever you start or load a new game (and in your case whenever the number of party members changes as well).

Thanks for the reply.  So basically the only way to do this would be to add more variables to the game and bog it down slightly more.  I guess I'll add more dialog options then.

Thanks.
