Shilo Chen Ogre Magi in Larswood
« on: January 21, 2015, 10:35:47 PM »
Following up on a conversation with Jastey regarding the location of Shilo Chen's Ogre Magi.

http://forums.pocketplane.net/index.php/topic,29323.msg336340.html#msg336340

I have created an edited version of the script to move the ogre magi to Larswood near the blood spattered rock in the SW of the map.  I've also put a bear corpse in front of the rock (the Ogre Magi's latest kill).

First create a dead bear corpse:
Code: [Select]
COPY_EXISTING ~BEARBL.CRE~ ~override/UBDBEAR.CRE~
  WRITE_LONG 0x010 5 // Permanent corpse
  WRITE_LONG 0x014 0 // XP Value
  WRITE_LONG 0x020 2048 // STATE_DEAD
  WRITE_ASCII 0x280 ~UBDBEAR~

Then, a rewrite of ub_ar2900.baf code.  It changes the location to Larswood, adds the the bear corpse (and removes it after the quest is over).
Code: [Select]
<<<<<<<< .../bg1ub/ub_ar2900.baf
IF
GlobalGT("Chapter","GLOBAL",4)
Global("AcceptedUBShiloQuest","GLOBAL",1)
Global("CreateUBOgreMagi","%Larswood%",0)
THEN
RESPONSE #100
CreateCreature("UBDBEAR",[1020.3170]%FACE_12%)
CreateCreature("UBOGMA01",[1075.3200]%FACE_6%)
CreateCreature("UBOGMA02",[950.3175]%FACE_12%)
CreateCreature("%tutu_var%OGREHA",[910.3025]%FACE_14%)
CreateCreature("%tutu_var%OGREHA",[1000.3275]%FACE_8%)
CreateCreature("%tutu_var%OGREHA",[1190.3240]%FACE_8%)
SetGlobal("CreateUBOgreMagi","%Larswood%",1)
END

IF
Global("AcceptedUBShiloQuest","GLOBAL",2)
Dead("UBOGMA01")
Dead("UBOGMA02")
THEN
RESPONSE #100
ActionOverride("UBDBEAR",DestroySelf())
END
