Assertion Failure
« on: August 11, 2014, 10:18:35 PM »
So I was re-running BG Tutu. Finished up Durlag's Tower and killed Aec'lectec with only five reloads. Feeling pretty good, I saved and got off for dinner. When I tried to get back on, the game crashed when I hit the "load" button with the message that "An Assertion failed in ChVidImage3d.cpp at line number 1957".

I honestly don't know what happened. I was away for an hour. Didn't install anything, uninstall anything, or do anything to the files in that folder.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Your saves folder might have been corrupted by your antivirus program...
The suggestion around is to clear your save folder by copy pasting it's content to somewhere else(as a backup) and then using all of them one at a time to see which save is the corrupted one.
Also, make sure that you clear the "cache", "temp" and "tempsave" folders.
