~*~ With BG1-style weapon proficiencies, Xan gets a pip in Large Swords AND a pip in Short Swords. Moonblade doesn't get updated description of Short Swords and still shows Dagger proficiency, but actually works properly (this is probably one of BG2Tweaks issues, though).

The bandits which accompany Deke in the previously mentioned encounter have been stripped of the ability to talk with the player, which prevents the bug of being able to force talk them prior to their turning hostile and thus receive conversation bits (and possibly journal entries) which should only be received *after* the player has reached the bandit camp.
All three bandit groups are hostile as soon as you see them and will open fire. Raiken and Teven still move towards you to initiate a dialogue, but that fireball is already flying... Wanna talk? Don't *&%$ing shoot at me!
