Evil dialogue override-question

I would like to keep Korgan in my party as well doing lots of good deeds. I dowloaded evil dialogue override and put the happy.2da file in my override folder. there was no Happy.2da file to overwrite, so I suspect that when the time comes, Korgan will leave! :(
Should I keep worrying? somthing I should fix? Can I fix this if needed, or is it somthing I have to start a new game for?

Doesn't Ease of Use mod fix this? I think it has a 'happy NPC party' mod which if your rep is too high or too low your players will stay

Baldur's Gate Tweaks over at Gibberlings3(which incorporates Ease-of-Use) fixes it, too.

You should use modern mods (WeiDU) instead of things like that, but still, as long as you put your happy.2da file in override it should work.

No need to restart? Cause' once I did put happy.2da, in the middle of the game, and Korgan did leave, and left me axeless... :'(
