IWD NPC for IWD-in-BG2 engine
« on: September 27, 2011, 12:41:19 AM »
A great engine conversion is availble at G3: Play Icewind Dale in Baldur's Gate 2 engine.

It is stable and playable. If you want to give it a try with IWD NPC, you can. Just download it from the mod's webpage:

After the IWD-in-BG2 conversion, just click the .exe, choose the right directory and install it. As ever, I would recommend this: before installing any mods, backup your icewind.exe, override directory and chitin.key, just like with BG2.

Version 7 of IWD-in-BG2 is now available, and I'm cautiously optimistic that it's stable enough to be recreationally playable - it should still be compatible with this version of IWD-NPC, though I haven't actually done an install check.
