Wondering if its possible to make a mod for this
« on: September 27, 2010, 10:48:22 AM »
Hi, I've been away from ppg for a while. But now i am thankfully back and this time i am going for icewind dale 2 (having played baldurs gate 1 and 2 to the extreme). I am going to be straight out, would it be possible to make a small mod for adding a few classes to the icewind dale 2 game or at least some useful feats along the lines of neverwinter nights 1. I am thinking of some basic classes that will behave similarly like the regular classes.

Assassin (just like nvn's), Blackguard (same), Duelist, and i cant really remember the rest. Those 3 would be cool though. Assassin would be a cool class that would have a few feats to it. Blackguard would be a fighters undualclassed version of a paladin/fighter/thief. And dualist would be cool if you could have a finesse fighter that fights upclose. I know this is asking a bit since mostly i heard that classes cant be done like kits in bg2. But hey, i'm sure it could be done if they were classes by themselves.

Also, some new feats would be almost necessary to this already great game. Alot of the feats in nvn were awesome but the game itself....kinda sucked. Icewind dale would be cool if it was given like 20 new feats that were mostly from nvn. I'm sure this can be done. My only question is can it? If anyone knows this, or if someone is working on it, please let me know.
