Hello folks,

I wonder which mods are modifying the random encounters during your travels in Athkatla? Because I want to remove one area from the list of random encounter areas, and, if some mod out there is using exactly that one particular area, it would be broken... I know all random areas are using the same script (perhaps with a few minor changes like actor positions, but that´s all), so I guess it won´t affect encounters at all, if I cut out one area and substitute it with another...

Anybody knows about some??

So far I know about Swordcoast Stratagems and Tactics... Anything else??

The BG2 "random encounters"? ??? The which happen between the areas, not inside them...
So far I know about Swordcoast Stratagems and Tactics... Anything else??
Well the Tactics Random Encounters are again covered by the BPv180 too, but you probably know that.

If you have ~30 GB of free disk space and can leave your computer on for ten hours, you can perform an Expert install of BWP and then --change-log specific script files.

To Jarno: Yes, I know about that, but thanks anyway  ;D and yes, I was talking about between encoutners... the ones that happen in areas from AR0041 to AR0046  :pirate

To the bigg: I have the required space, but not the time...

I guess if any modder is modifying existing random encouter, it is mostly modification of creatures used in that area, not the random area itself. Even if the mod is modifying random area script, it modify all random area´s scripts. Logically, as you don´t know in which random area you´ll face the encounter you want... And because all random encouter areas have the same scripts (just checked them all six - from AR0041 to AR0046), it won´t matter in which area the encounter will fire on, creatures that will show up will be still modifyed anyway... That why I´m searching for the mod that modifying encounter areas itself, not just used creatures... Maybe I wasn´t clear last time...

Is it more clear now??
