How exactly does finch's identify work? I tried clicking on the backpack icon for finch's identify and a sound plays but when I try to identify something nothing happens. Any ideas? I have the Big world project installed, so maybe some of the spell mods are interfering with her identify?

Thanks.

I think it's like identifying anything else. Right click on the item that needs to be identified. Click on Identify at the bottom left. It should ask how you want to identify the item. If any of the options are viable one or more of the buttons will be clickable.  I'm not sure if it is considered a spell or a scroll for the purposes of identifying. I also think that there might be some instructions inside the description of Finch's glasses.  It has been awhile since I last looked at Finch so I can't say too much with any certainty...

Her glasses don't seem to work for some reason... I gave myself the true glasses of identification with near infinity and it seems to work while in her backpack. What's odd is the glasses of identification and finch's glasses are pretty much identical when I use near infinity to check their stats.

The Finch mod overrides the BGII glasses of identification (the mod is not officially supported for BWP, at least not yet).
I wouldn't know how Finch's glasses are supposed to work, though.

I'd like to reassure: Finch's been behaving very well on Tutu and EasyTutu installs for several years, so it's quite safe to install her. That is, Finch alone and Finch with other mods is probably safer than a huge-huge pack of other mods.

If I remember correctly, her glasses should work after rest.

Finch glasses doesn't work properly with BWP. Nothing happens. To bad...

Is it possible to remove glasses from her eyes?

The mod would have to be modified to not provide the glasses OR you would have to edit all of her creature files prior to meeting her in the Red Sheaf Inn. You have to do it that way because the glasses are non-movable and can not be dropped (i.e. it is her item and belongs to no one else)
