ICQ sucks again

Subj.

The story is, yesterday all Russian users were banned - starting yesterday, not a single Russian user can connect to ICQ using Trillian, QIP or any alternate program(except ICQ 6.5/ICQ lite), while foreign users are still able to use either.

I'd continue using Googletalk - simple interface, open source code(unlike in Scype or ICQ), but the problem is, we use ICQ at work. Grrr.

Just so you know: ICQ IS EVIL. So there.

Hey, it's our admin you're talking about, here!

Well, some people code Tashia, and some live with their sisters - nobody's perfect. :) But, yeah, it was nice and comfortable - Trillian, for one, has(had?) a simple and banner-free interface.

And, remember, discriminating Russian users is bad, because we have gas, vodka and KGB. Sigh.

I mean, I don't want to chat to my boss AND see huge banners about "Comedy Club" releases, it's clear enough. (Not to mention they suck). But it's even worse when I realize that my friend Erik from Germany or Maria from Poland are still able to use ICQ just the way they used to, and I cannot.
