segmentation fault? (solved)
« on: October 03, 2008, 12:05:47 AM »
I'm wondering if this is just my installation being FUBAR?  The following code turned up when installing any part of the Quest Pack (I didn't go in and methodically try each one, but it happened for the first five or so):

Checking for forbidden files ...
[override/FW2600.are] not found (as desired)

followed by a segmentation fault.  What would cause this behavior?

I believe I have confirmed that, yes, the installation has become a steaming pile.  More seg faults up the wazoo, so back to the drawing board.

Just tying up loose ends.  I appear to have solved this problem in Mac OS 10.2 (Jaguar) by raising stack limits in terminal, and manually running the mod setup files; look in the Weidu forum for more specifics.
