NEED HELP!!! Game crashes whenever I try to leave the 'Underdark Exit' location!

First of all I am new to this forum so if this thread is being inappropriately placed then I apologize....but bare with me.....

I need help trying to uncover what might be behind the game crashing whenever my party tries to leave the Underdark Exit. I recently loaded my game to see the specific title of the location and it is called Underdark Exit. We have just completed the mission with the silver dragon, she guided us out of the Underdark, we emerged, met up with the surface elf party and spoke with their leader. After all that jazz we went to leave the map and no matter where we proceed to the game ultimately tells me me there was some sort of Assertion Error.

I have no clue where to look for some sort of error. Any and all help would be appreciated. Again, I am new to this forum and not literate enough in the ways of the computer to know what the problem is off the bat or what particular mod I have installed that is creating the error.
