UB Split

There is something that I've been thinking about a bit lately that I thought I might get some feedback on from you guys...

Currently, Unfinished Business has about 19 individual components.  That number is only going to increase as new quests are added.  I was thinking of taking some of the smaller components (Portrait Restorations, Name Corrections, BAM corrections, etc.) and turning them into a separate mod, probably something called the "UB TweakPack," since tweak packs are the happenin' thing nowadays. 

So, do you guys think that splitting UB into two separate mods is beneficial or detrimental?

Alternately, you could put all of those elements in a single "Cosmetic Enhancements" component...

I don't think number of components is really a problem with a mod, so much as filesize. But until UB is shipping with bucketloads of TIS files, this isn't really a problem. On the other hand, a "cosmetic fixes" component is probably a fair idea.

Well, originally these, along with a few other components, were all dumped into one called "Misc Tweaks."  I broke it down since some people may want names to be restored, but not portraits. 

Ah, well... I guess I won't worry about it too much.

Yeh, but the Misc Tweaks needed to be broken down, since Artemis Entreri in Bodhi's lair really did suck. On the other hand, I think the number of people wanting names restored but not portraits is going to be somewhat low.

I think number of components can get to be a slight problem in that it might tend to encourage people to say "Oh, fuck it, Y to everything, let's go already" but yeah, I don't think it's too much the end of the world to have additional components... and if it bugs you, lump all the cosmetic ones together. Boom.

Well, tapping Y a lot is much easier than the frustration of having gay components like Artemis Entreri restored when you don't want 'em.  So yeah, just one pirate's opinion.
