New EasyTutu from May 2008
« on: May 18, 2008, 12:44:02 PM »
Hello Everyone,

First of all congratulations to Macready for EasyTutu and the new version :-)

I'm in need of some Highlight and I think someone can help me.

I've just downloaded the new version of EasyTutu and I need a help with Order of Install.

What I did so far?

1 - Installed Baldur's Gate I and ToSC and patched with 5512 Patch version
2 - Installed Baldur's Gate II: SoA and ToB and patched with 26498 Patch version
3 - Installed EasyTutu_ToB.exe (new version from May 2008)

Now I'm wondering what should I do. Here is the list of what I'm planning to install. Just need a Highlight if is OK to install and which is the proper order of install.

1 - Tutufix_v18 - Do I need it now with the new version?

2 - BG2 Fixpack v6 From G3

3 - TutuGUI v1.8 - I love that

4 - BG2 Tweaks v6 From G3

5 - BG Tutu Indira NPC v10

6 - BG1 NPC Project v16 From G3

7 - All mods related to stacks like ammo, bags, etc From Brendan Bellina

Those are the ones I'm planning to install but feel free to recommend me any mod you think it is good to install and improve my BG experience once again

Thanks again in advance and congratulations,

Galthariel

Hi Galthariel.

TutuFix is not mandatory. It has some tweaks you might find useful, but that's it.

Easytutu already includes the BG2 Fixpack, so don't install it (specially not two times ;)).

TutuGUI ALWAYS goes last in order.

Check this thread if you haven't already. :)

Definitely skip BG2 fixpack. The published distribution is not compatible with EasyTutu.  And, I've already integrated the relevant portions into EasyTutu.
EasyTutu: Tutu installation made simple.

Thanks Daulmakan and Macready.

I've checked the thread you've mentioned although I was wondering if anything changed after the last release of EasyTutu and that's why I've posted this new question.

I will skip BG2 Fixpack and install TutuGUI for last. Skip Bg2Fixpack means skip Baldurdash also right? BG2 Tweaks it's for BG 2 so I will skip it too.

And what about BG1 NPC project v16? I think it's the last question I have now.

Thanks again,

Galthariel

Yes, all the needed fixes are already included.

BG2 Tweaks it's for BG 2 so I will skip it too.
Actually, some of it applies to Easytutu. And it will recognise your install and only offer the proper components. As cmorgan said, it's good stuff. Check it out.

BG1 NPC is the main reason I wanted to give Easytutu a try. I'd say it's a must install. Go ahead with v16, cmorgan must've missed to update the version number in that awesome thread.
