Nilthiri bugs

Just spent four hours trying to past Nilthiri. Tried the supposed fix patch. Tried the invisibility trick. Tried simply killing Minsc. Tried exiting zone and returning.

Uninstalling the Boo component. Not worth the trouble or time.

The Nilthiri issue is a conflict between UB's Corrected BAMs and Scripts and the BG2 Fixpack. A workaround is available in this thread. I posted code to fix this in the UB workroom ages ago and had completely forgotten about it.

I just encountered the bug with Nilthiri and there is an easy way to get past it. Once she gets to Near Death a Death Spell is more than enough to kill her. ;)

Bugs now fixed in v18 (I hope!) so I'll unpin the thread.

I'm guessing this is a clash with SCSII, but I'm not 100% certain. I'll check it out.

In the meantime, a crude but hopefully-effective workaround is to add the following code to the end of setup-ub.tp2

That creates a new component for UB. Install it, then when you get to a point where Nilthiri should be dead but isn't, open the console and enter

She should drop dead.

I tried to install the new component that you so kindly provided, but my stupid "cannot find chitin.key" problem on my Mac means that I cannot install it to see if it works. But I did import a Death Spell scroll, but that didn't work. Sigh.
