CamDawg is not retiring, as far as I know, and all the Gibberlings are working together on backscene stuff as time, energy, ability, and knowledge apply. But your point is taken - I have a strong reputation for autocratic rule, refusal to support players and modders, complete abandonment of civility, and massive hidden agendas that threaten to destabilize the i.e. modding scene. Plus a complete lack of ability to communicate, I can't wite decent dialog, I am massively incompetent at coding, and I smash small squirrels into paste for my morning sandwiches. My first act shall be to relabel all mods as "setup-oKyluk-Sux_.exe", make sure they only are installable when IA is present and it is a linux platform, and shut down the forums so that those pesky players won't bug the True Modding Cadre. Then the banning will start, starting with random individuals and moving to simply shuttig out all Gibberlings and establishing my own massive powerbase from which to... erm... talk to myself?

(I am afraid I was laughing too hard to take this seriously. Sorry. Cutting to the chase, it is an ISP problem and CamDawg is working on it. )

Agreed, thanks for the update cmorgan, was getting consternating not knowing what was up.

Funny that it happened -just- before I released my mods, and the only thread anywhere on teh internets I was actually talking about them publicly will probably be the last thread about them to get an announcement posted to it, lol.

Demigrvs' release got sideswiped the same way - his forum went live a few hours before the host messed things up :( C'est la vie. With any luck, this will be resolved quickly.

Oh it's okay, I didn't mean for that to come across as a complaint, and please don't feel bad about it on my account.  K'aeloree did a great job of advertising my mods for me (and even SKARDAVNELNATE mentioned 'em on a few boards), I've seen most folks who ever posted on the G3 thread over at my forums at SHS by now, and I can't complain at all about my download count so far.

Now if I could only get some feedback on 'em, hehe.

I'd suggest being real, real careful until you do in fact see Cam take advantage of all that newsfeed technology to tell people it's fixed.

Don't write any brilliantly scathing posts without saving a backup, is what I'm saying.

I have long taken "scathing posts/e-mails, which go too far and you would regret later, which you never get to send because a sudden power surge or network failure knocks you offline" as proof of a benevolent deity.

I'm not sure exactly what "scathing posts which were good enough to actually send but which are then wiped off the face of the earth a short while later even though a few people did end up seeing them" proves.

Heh. Thus speaks wisdom. I wistfully recall (not mine) wiped posts from the Attic's Hell Kitchen, though: when they kept discussing me there, my writing speed doubled(and the resulting fanfic wasn't THAT bad). I don't get the same result with a scandal on an English forum these days - maybe I should start writing scathing posts in Russian?
