Off-topic: It's really a shame, yes. I have a local copy; jcompton has one, too - he will fix the songs soon.

Yeah, sorry about that, I've had a small note stuck to my monitor for two weeks telling me to remember to fix the songs already. I'll try to make good today.

Mods and Patches > Baldur's Gate2 > BG2 Mods > BG2 Spell Related Mods > Teleport Spell

http://addoncz.jinak.cz/viewtopic.php?p=3389#3389

"Page canot be displayed" etc...

In better news, it is available at Sorcerer's Place:

http://www.sorcerers.net/Games/BG2/index_mods_hosted_items_spells.php

As for the missing mods, I have copies of just about all of them. Anyone interesting in hosting them?

Studios has that "miscellaneous released mods" section, that's a good place to toss orphans.

Quick note about Geocities sites: There are a number of Geocities preservation projects out there, and some of them have picked up old BG sites. If you don't mind, before reporting a broken Geocities link, try the URL but replace "geocities.com" with:

geocities.ws
reocities.com
oocities.com

I have been able to save a few sites with this method.

That is good to know. All that content hasn't been lost forever.

Paladins of Fearun mod links to a dead site with a link to a new one.  That site has three links for download: Trailers for POF 1 and POF 2, and "POF Toolkit 4.0".  The last link is dead.  So essentially the only thing being linked to are trailers for mods.

Rogue Rebalancing Pack returns a 404 error from the linked url:

http://rogue.rebalancing.googlepages.com/http://rogue.rebalancing.googlepages.com/

I searched for the mod and found the link in the following three locations:

> Home > Mods and Patches > BG1Tutu > BG1Tutu Kits & Tweaks

> Home > Mods and Patches > Baldur's Gate Trilogy > BGT Kits & Tweaks

> Home > Mods and Patches > Baldur's Gate 2 > BG2 Mods > BG2 Rules and Tweaks (currently the first listing on page 2)

The mod is currently hosted by Spellhold Studios at this url: http://www.spellholdstudios.net/ie/rrhttp://www.spellholdstudios.net/ie/rr

Neh'taniel link leads to blacksheepclan.net which apparently doesn't exist anymore. It's at Chosen of Mystra now: http://forums.chosenofmystra.net/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;id=62

The Drizzt Saga pack, with Drizzt's buddies, looks like it's gone. The link brings me to the page it's supposed to be on, but when I click one of the download links, the site claims the pages they can be downloaded from do not exist. This is a real shame as this was the ONE mod that I really wanted. :'(

This link? http://www.blackwyrmlair.net/Mods/drizztsaga.php Black Wyrm lair might have some problems with hosting right now; I'd wait for a few days or ask for a copy = maybe someone here or at G3 or SHS has one.

Home > Mods and Patches > Baldur's Gate > BG Official Patches

Both the patch links for Baldur's Gate and Tales of the Sword Coast are dead.  They lead to pages on the Bioware site that no longer have anything on them.

In fact, I've noticed this problem in a few other places, so you might want to check the links for any official Bioware patches.

I would like to confirm that the links with BG2's official patches lead to a useless page of the offical Bioware site.

Bioware, Bioware, ..., what did happen to you ? Sighs.

Is there any way these patches could be hosted elsewhere please ?

The link to NearInfinity here is extremely old.  The newest versions can be found here.
"Ok, I've just about had my FILL of riddle asking, quest assigning, insult throwing, pun hurling, hostage taking, iron mongering, smart-arsed fools, freaks, and felons that continually test my will, mettle, strength, intelligence, and most of all, patience! If you've got a straight answer ANYWHERE in that bent little head of yours, I want to hear it pretty damn quick or I'm going to take a large blunt object roughly the size of Elminster AND his hat, and stuff it lengthwise into a crevice of your being so seldom seen that even the denizens of the nine hells themselves wouldn't touch it with a twenty-foot rusty halberd! Have I MADE myself perfectly CLEAR?!"

> Home > Mods and Patches > Icewind Dale > IWD Mods > IWD Rules and Tweaks

Full Plate&Packing Steel
G3 Icewind Dale 1 Tweak Pack
iiTweak
Improved BAMs

are dead. :(

Is there a mirror somewhere for the tweak pack? Or the other mods, by any chance?
