DLTCEP help - Can't make minimap

okay so  i'm following the steps for a tutorial on tilesets and when i try to Create Minimap a message says "Can't write file"

what's up with thaaaat

also when i'm editing an area and i want to place an actor and when i browse for a creature file the Pick Creature list it is empty when it shouldn't

did i miss something in the readmes or the instructions because whats up

Take a look at these tutorials, please. You'll have to start with basic settings(readme only mode, for one).

that's the tutorial i was reading from

i was following the steps for creating the area TIS and then when i select "Create Minimap" it "can't write file."
