Thanks, I'll look into it. :)

In other news I have had some feedback from the testers and am quietly making a few more changes... I have a mountain of RL work at the moment too, though, so no promises when anything'll become public.

On a related note, has anyone ever had a problem where Malaaq (the genie near the start of the game) gets given a nonsensical name?

I am unfortunately not often about these days so the best way to get hold of me is via email.

Hello
Is it still possible to participate in the new version testing? I'm willingly eager to contribute.

Unfortunately it seems that Andyr is as busy as ever. The call for Betatester is 7 months old now and Andyr has last logged in PPG in September (!!) 2007.

We can just hope he can find some time to go back to modding soon enough.

Yep, I've noticed the topic start date and I've even posted on Aug 5. No answer unfortunately.
I hoped some works are still on the way, it seems the project stopped again.

Hello!

I'm an italian translator of the Baldur's gate Community. I am translating "Unfinished Business for BG2". Reading this topic I saw you are going to release a new version of this mod and I would be glad if you can send me files TRA or, if you want, the new version so that I can tested it.
(I must tell you: UB is my favourite mod!)

Thanks for your attention.

I would be happy to test for you, if it isn't too late.

I would also like to report a, well, a scripting misfeature more than a bug.

Should you get the temple ruins shown on your map because you are hunting ithalium
rather than because you went to umar hills, and talked to the people there and found
Mazzy's note, then

when you find her in the prison and she asks what is up you only have the option
to say 'I am trying to kill the shade lord'.  Except that you have never heard of the
shade lord before .....

just thought to mention ...

I think this call is obsolete now, so I'll unpin the topic.
