Misplaced Dialogues not within conversations!
« on: March 17, 2007, 08:12:11 AM »
Hey guys, I'm wondering how to solve a problem which is quite possibly from the QuestPack mod. Sometimes certain enemies give combat messages which appear to be dialogues or journal entries of some sort. I dunno why they appear or how a journal entry can suddently pop up in such a way. It happens quite often and can get annoying after a while.

Here's some screenshots:

Please tell me what causes this and how it can be fixed. Thanks!

I'm guessing that either you have uninstalled/reinstalled some mods recently or you are attempting to use an old save with a new installation.

Neither works.

Your string references are scrambled.

Your best bet is to do a complete uninstallation/reinstallation of the game, including all mods. After uninstalling the game, it is necessary to delete the game folder completely before reinstalling, or you'll be in the same predicament all over again.

You will not be able to use an earlier saved game, as that is the part with the bad string references.

In that case I will ignore it, since I don't feel like re-playing all that I've done so far. Thanks for your help, though.
