Net neutrality
« on: July 07, 2006, 09:40:02 AM »
I note that the subject of net neutrality has a new staunch supporter in U.S. Senator Ted Stevens (http://www.publicknowledge.org/node/497), the man that managed
to grab some of the Katarina re-build funds for building brigdes in his home state of Alaska. While on the subject of appropriation, I would like take this opportunity to thank
any tax paying Americans on this forum for providing financial support for the celebration of norwegian independence last year.

Ouch.  Looks like a top runner for the presidency in '08, huh?   :P

Who was it that said "Democracy is the pathetic belief in the collective wisdom of mass ignorance?"  (or something)

Egad.

EDIT:  Or am I getting dangerously close to talking about politics?

Charming. I so look forward to the day when the only webpages I can ge to load are sponsored by MSN.

Balathustrius: Probably. The funny thing about politics is that it tends to affect every aspect of our lives.
