Strenght bonus for monsters
« on: December 18, 2005, 11:42:06 AM »
Hello,

Players use strenght bonus for melee weapons.

What about monsters?
I know bonus is applying for claw's type weapon, but for bite?
I have looked into many monsters in BG2, and some does have it, some doesn't.

For example, greater basilisk have 3 attack:
- petrification
- claw with poison (with strenght bonus)
- bite (no strenght bonus)

What do you think about that?

   I'm pretty sure same is true about monsters. I've checked it 1,000 times

Strength bonus being added to damage or not depends on the weapon .ITM files. Attacks can be set to allow it, or otherwise.

 @Aigleborgne
  Hell, looks like I missed most of your post
  I usually check creatures, including monsters, making them join the party. It's very convenient
