Vagabond Life
« on: December 16, 2005, 06:12:28 PM »
Some people-- mostly IRC People-- may have noticed I haven't been around the past two days. That's because I and most of my family have been kicked out of our house. I spent Wednesday night and a good part of Thursday with three other people in a car smaller than some closets.

Currently I am at my Aunt's house, but there are nine other people here and their computer is riddled with spyware and other problems, so my connection is still less than reliable. We're hoping to have this resolved soon, but god only knows how it's all going to work out.

See you when I see you.

The sleeping in the car is a particularly distressing element - the only way to make this activity at all bearable is to be thoroughly drunk.
Where is a nice comfy stable when you need one? Preferably with plumbing and cooking facilities.
Hope you return to comfort and privacy soon.

EDIT: Lu, don't ask him. He will respond and you will find you preferred being puzzled.

The last time I slept in a car, I was lost in Virginia. Ah, memories.

At any rate, I don't really know you, but you have my sympathy.

Oh, hehe. I don't know how that happened. :P

What I meant to say was that I'm not sure if your IRC comment was sarcasm or not, but just in case: IRC stands for Internet Relay Chat. It's basically IM.

If that was sarcasm, whatever.

discharger, you will have to do a lot more work before we can engage in spirited debate. At your current stage of development, where you are still building your vocabulary and are still not confident enough to espouse ideas that are not allegedly your mother's - well, to be blunt, you're just not interesting enough. Keep working at it though. In another ten years you might actually have enough sense to say something funny. I know there are people who think clever will be beyond your grasp, but who knows?  Maybe with enough patience and support from all of us here, you'll get there.

Now, back to Corvis' sad situation.

God. I had a friend who had to live out of his car for an extended period of time. It's terrible. I'm sorry to hear about that, Corvis. I hope things improve quickly.

Corvis, once again I'm really sorry that all that stuff happened to you, and you know it without this post
And I'm sorry that I asked these guys about all this crap, too (and you know it as well already)

And I don't actually care about all this IRC and IP and crap. I can live without knowing what this is, sure enough

Tough Luck, Corvis, hope you'll sort it out soon. Dunno if that'll help but I once lived for a month in a car. There are only two us (nothing of that whatever you're thinking) but it was a two seat car... and I only ate bread with onions through that month... and now have fond memories of that. So cheer up!

You know Corvis, even in the midst of your own troubles (and until an individual has slept either in a car crowded with a minimum of 3 other people or at their Aunty's house with a dud computer and 9 others, they will never know what suffering is) you are still able to show consideration for the feelings of others. Your example is inspiring.
As much as I would like to lighten your load and bring some cheer to the troubled times you are in, crushing dis with a few well-chosen words is too much like running over a cockroach witha bull-dozer. It's just too easy. What about someone else?

It's not who you crash but how you crash. I'm sure Corvis would agree.
