Setting effects on melee attack
« on: November 29, 2005, 05:36:29 PM »
Hello,

I'm trying to add a special effect to melee attack.
If creature make a 18+ hit roll, they do 3d6 more damage
Is it possible to do that?

If not, is it possible to get a critical hit for 18-19-20 hit roll?
If yes, how to?

Last (and the most complicated one)
If the creature hit something in melee, and if target have less than 19 strength
50% (more or less) probabilty to stun target for some rounds

So, I know how to apply effects, but I can't find the right trigger
Any help?

The first two are not possible, but I am not sure about the last.

The second is possible on ToB. Effect number: 301, parameter1 = 2

The third seems to be possible via scripting/effects hybrid.

Thanks for your responses

I have finally done an equivalent trigger, with a probality of 15%. (= 18+ on hit roll)
I have found that critical weren't good because they can be ignored by helmet.

for the 3rd thing, I will wort on it
