I'm with Echon in that good and evil are abstract concepts, along with ethics and morality.

I would like to add time to this list, as I believe it was invented at some point as a tool to help measure and relate to the changes which the present is constantly undergoing. Obviously I do not think time travel will be possible because to me there is no past or future. Having said this I expect to be bombarded with copied and pasted theories on why time exists or why time travel is theoretically possible (but the theories I have seen seem to me to support my view as much as they support the existance of time) because that usually what happens.

Time is just another dimension, so why cant you move through it like all the others? We exsist in the present yet you cant deny there has been a past and there will be a future.

I believe I can. Yes, the past and the future exist, but only as abstracts, which you believe to be real. The whole thing seems to have been turned around here, though. I do not think I should try to prove that time does not exist until you have proven that it, in fact, does.

Only recently someone claimed to have proven that there is no time, but I can't find the article right now.
"Show me how you do that trick! The one that makes me scream", she said,
"the one that makes me laugh!" she said and threw her arms around my neck.
"Show me how you do it and I promise you, I promise that
I'll run away with you, I'll run away with you..."

If we can move back and (faster) forward in time then everything is surely pre-ordained.

I wonder how many dimensions there are, just because we can only percieve 4 of them doesnt mean there arent more.

Clearly the server believes time exists, unless you typed those 2 messages at the same... er, time.

This seems to be different than "time doesn't exist" - it seems more like "time is an inherently meaningless measurement", which I can sort of get behind, at least.  We use time to differentiate the current "present" from the "present" that was here 5 minutes ago.  I'm not sure what the signficance of that statement is, but I can't really find any fault with it.

Current string/brane theories think maybe 10 or 11, but the theories are still being poked and tweaked.

Life is to suffer, life is pleasure, life is to hurt others, so what is the purpose to exist?  :-yin We are forever caught in a yin-yang pull.

No it isn't.  Stop being so stereotypically goth.  It's very, very boring.

Nah, it's just that everyone went through that phase in early high school.  Then we grew out of it.

I do disagree with Ghrey in regards to your stereotypical Gothness being boring.  I find it quite amusing - keep up the good work.  I do wish you'd stop with the "smiley-only" posts, though.  Now those are boring.
