Errors never seen before
« on: November 09, 2005, 04:02:56 AM »
I seem to remember someone at TeamBG's or Interplay's forums talking about this happening but nobody really believed it and I never expected it to actually happen to me. I had created Imoen using the LUA Console and gone through her dialogue after which she automatically joins the party. That did not happen this time, though, so I CTRL+Y'ed her. She must have switched places with my PC (even though his portrait was still being used) because when I killed her, his portrait disappeared and the party was empty. Normally you would expect the Game Over movie to play at this point but the game continued and my PC, who went by the name of Laks, initiated dialogue with me, displaying the 2nd state from MULTIG.DLG. His avatar was gone but somehow I was still in control of him. He could not actually move but would still play sound files when I told him to go somewhere. As you can see, having an empty party did strange things to the interface.

Perhaps it's time to have our own Hall of Shame? I don't insist on the name
Silly me, Hall of Wonders, of course. The screenshot are miraculous, indeed. I envy you, Echon. Ooh, I want the same in my game

Not BG1, but I recall an error where the cutscene in Jonny's dungeon didn't really turn into a cutscene. I easily slaughtered him with Ctrl+Y as seen in this picture:
