adding mods when game underway
« on: May 11, 2005, 04:06:41 PM »
I have successfully installed BG1Tutu and added the BG1 Banter Pack mod.  I'm now playing a game but I'd like to add Restored BG1 Casting Sounds and One Pixel Productions' complete fix to to add BG1 paperdolls, item graphics, and the left-hand weapon fix:  http://forums.spellholdstudios.net/index.php?showforum=159
Will adding these new features create any problems for the game I'm currently running?

Addendum:  I went ahead and added these features and at least at a glance, it seems continuing with a game in progress is working fine.  If I'd done a little homework I would have seen that the Restored BG1 Spellcasting Sounds can be added at any time.  (Also, apologies if this post is in the wrong forum.   :-[)

Yeh, a lot of mods will work fine in an existing game (though worlmap-altering ones will not).

Details on what to expect are normally found within the mods' readme files.

I am unfortunately not often about these days so the best way to get hold of me is via email.
