Valen is refusing to shut up!

I'm on my way to go fight Irenicus at the tree oflife, and am starting the usual NPC conversations just before going down the stairs.

Valen's keeps looping back.  My character says "That's not good", followed by one of two dialogue options, both of which lead to Valen talking about wanting to follow me now, followed by going back to "That's not good".

Hence, I'm rather stuck at this point.


Okay, managed to get around that by kicking Valen temporarily, letting the other party members say their piece, then taking Valen back in to go fight Johnny Boy.

Incidentally, Valen now seems to have picked up the odd habit of trying to dominate people after they die.  Is this an odd thing?  I first noticed it after I beat Wraith Sarevok and she tryed to dominate him a few seconds afterward.

Which party members do you have? Installed any other mods?

My other party members include Korgan, Edwin, Viconia, and Jan.  And my thief PC.

I have a bunch of other mods, but I don't think any of them should affect this part.  Most of them are Weimer mods (Tactics was apparently the cause of many a frustration when I faught Bohdi only to have Valen get permacharmed, I ended up killing her and consoling her back, I must make a note to download the newst version).  I also have... heck, I'll just post the full list, on the off chance something there is disagreeing with Valen.
