What's wrong with ghrey?  Are you some sort of colour-phobe?

But yeah, that's something I'd kind of like to do, but to make them any good I'd need to do... 28 frames per icon, I believe.  For the flashy thing that BG2's map icons do.

The BGT worldmap looks to have coloured icons. I don't know if they flash though. However, there's nothing to say that our flashing has to be exactly like BG2's flashing, so if we used a glowing edges filter or something to automatically generate a sequence of frames, it might not look so bad.

No, I'm not really sure how you'd do it either, but I'm sure there must be a way. At the very least, maybe the BGT icons are worth a look.

This looks amazingly well done, Ghrey. I've only got one issue with it: roads. Is there any way to draw them in at all?
