I'm Ruben

I've been lurking around these boards for a year or so now, though I haven't said alot.

I've so far enjoyed: Dungeon Begone, Kelsey, Flirt Packs, and really egarly awaiting the Nalia Romance.

I haven't really  done anyl mod making but I am trying my hand at it with all the documention on here. Though it seem somone already has started a mod with a similar idea, but I'm going to try anyway.

I've introduced myself before but I'll reintroduce myself. Name's Melissa and I live right smack dab in the Middle of Nowhere. I like playing the piano, anime, giving hugs and coloring books. I put the fun in dysfunctional. It would be nice to create my own mod but I have very little motivation as it is and what motivation I do have needs to be spent on college at the moment. I'm working at the library at my college. I basically get paid to sit on my ass. I'm 19 but I've never gotten past the age of twelve.

Well, I'll introduce myself, as I'm trying to post more and lurk less.
Hi, I'm elfheart, I'm 16 and I reside in Wisconsin with my family of two parents and three siblings. I have no plans (or any idea how) to make mods, but maybe some day. I started playing Kelsey (and other mods) about a year ago and have not had a 'clean' install of BG2 since. I like to see what new mods are being developed, play them, and mix them - causing mayhem and woe. I always manage to get things back in order, though. <caution> When I post, I tend to either ramble or write very little. </caution>

Hello, my name is Melisah and I'm a neutral good, half elf ranger looking for romance. :-*  I have dark hair, dark eyes and have been told I have an a** so beautiful, it's a shame I have to sit down on it.  (Oh that Coran, he was such a charmer.)  Anyway, I have had a few romances in the past but my first boyfriend went on to become a paladin for the royal order of Helm (after I  talked him out of killing an entire family, what a looser) and my second boyfriend was stolen by my slut of a little sister.  But you know what, it's all good.  They now live in the Promenade of Athkatla where he sells his little charisma potions.  It's a good thing too because my sister put on like 50 pounds after she had a kid and she can use all the help she can get.  I on the other hand still wiegh the same as I did when I graduated from Candlekeep High.  My friend Jaihera always said that karma would come back and bite my sister in the backside, and boy, did it ever!

Anyway, I'm looking for an advernturing man who knows how to light a campfire and keep it lit of you know what I mean.  He needs to be human, elf or half-elf, preferably tall and he also needs to know how to take orders.  No one but me leads my group and it's best if he keeps this in mind.  I also prefere men with good or neutral allignments.  I don't want some evil bastard coming in and trying to take over my group (man that is so annoying).  Also, he must be really proficiant with an arrow, sword or staff. ;)

If there is anyone interested, just drop me a line at

Hi,

My name's david, I'm 48 years old, live in Hampshire in the UK and am currently working through Ghreyfain's "Making an NPC Tutorial". I am doing this very slowly, about as slowly as I play the game. I usually correspond at planet baldurs gate in the SOA & TOB forums.

Currently have the flirt & banterpacks installed, together with 'Unfinished Business'

Errr...  Well..  ::deep breath::

Hello I'm Kate, just like it says in my name.  I'm 18 at the current moment, though I will be 19 in about two weeks.  Most of the regulars know me, or have at least seen me lurking around the forums here and there.  I do a bit of voice acting and banter writing; I a trying to learn modding, but it's proving difficult on my part lol.  I'm extremely shy about voicing my opinion, making a suggestion, or offering help; but I'm always more than willing to help  :D I'm here because Jason and the others left a trail of cookie crumbs from FWP and I thought I was going to find cookies; friekin' modders, lol j/k  ;)

;)

Well, here goes.

I'm a father of two living in North Carolina.  I'm in my 30's & work for a living as a network administrator.  When I'm not spending time with my wife, children, or computer I can usually be found in the gym, outdoors, or writing fiction.  I don't read nearly as many books as I used to and understand my own father much better these days.  My favorite food is chocolate but I have yet to find any here ... so I guess that I  *am* staying for the mods.

As far as BG goes I've played BG, ToSC, SoA, & ToB.  I've been around on the various boards in several incarnations since about mid-way though the development of SoA.  I've managed to try out a few mods, but still have a *ton* that I'm trying to get to.  So far my favorite PC has been my namesake, Rathwellin the Bard, a NG Half Elf Blade, the best written mod that I've tried has been Kelsey, &, to my shame, I have yet to master the final Ascension battle.

I am taking the first baby steps towards writing a mod of my own, but have quite a ways to go.
Faith is a candle to reason's sun.

Hi.  I'm Mike.

I live in Canada.  I'm not going to say where, because you'll laugh at me :p.

I sing.  I like a lot of music, but my favourites would have to be Frank Sinatra, Tool, Metallica and Pink Floyd... not necessarily in that order.

I'm a communist.  Ask me why!

At the moment, I'm in between relationships.  So same old, same old.

I also like pie.

I go to enjoy week and a half in beautiful Spain and when I came back everything is different.  :o Well, I've never introduced myself properly in any of the forums so I suppose now would be the appropriate time.

I'm 25 year old student from Helsinki, Finland; happily married to my lovely husband whom you might occasionally see under name of Darios bugging Ghreyfain or someone else in coding matters. I stumbled in the wonderful world of IE modding little less than a year ago when I came across the Dragonlance TC website. I lurked there for a while and found new IE modding forums inhabited by suspiciously familiar sounding nicks. :D Eventually I stayed for good.

Canadians kick ass.  Except Ontarians.  Albertans are by far the superior type of Canadian, just ask anyone.  :P
Why does the rest of Canada hate Ontario? It's because we're the centre of Canada and the rest are jealous! Albertans are Americans in all but name so they don't count. :P

In case you didn't guess I'm Rusalka, and I'm a from Ontario, Canada. I'm most likely to be found near anything Fan Fiction. ;)

Conversation as well as introductions in the Introductions thread serves to make the introductions hard to find, so I've started a new thread, and moved posts here that aren't introductions to it.

On the 'net I've been going by NiGHTMARE (or nb_nmare in places where nightmare is already taken) since mid 1996, but in real life the name's Nick Baker.  I'll be 23 in just under two months, I live in Hampshire, UK, and am currently unemployed (though not through lack of trying ;)).

At the moment I'm "working" on a mod to bring Kivan to BG2, but for the past several months this "work" has mostly consisted of me trying to figure out how to do various thingsn WeiDU, giving up, and not going back to it for weeks on end  :-[.  I *will* force myself to just sit down and learn the darned thing some day soon though, especially as I'll really need to for the next BG2 mod I'll be working on.  Can't let poor Andyr do all the work... :P

I've also been making a 2-part Doom add-on for almost 8 years (on & off, mostly off), and the levels for it are *finally* coming up to a completely finished state :).  If you're interested, go here for some screenshots of part 1.

well finally decided to register and post.......hopefully I figured out how to do it properly. So here goes: my actual name is Julio and i'm from Vancouver, Canada (Go Canucks).....i'm 22 years old and i'm only been playing BG and BG II for only six months (yeah i know it's a bit late but better late than never).  Absolutely love Baldur's Gate and think it's just fantastic to see so many mods for such a great game.  Once i figure how the infinity engine actually works and learn how to use the editing tools without taking a whole night just to make a few items maybe i'll do some modding.....=)

Greetings all.  My name is jd malachi (a.k.a. James).  I am 32 and live down on the coast of Texas, waitin for the next hurricane to drop in.  I spend most of my time on the road with my job, so I dont get to drop in as much as I would like.  I came over here after tracking down JC, who I have a lot of respect for as a great modder.  I have been playing the BG series since BG I launched, but still love to play.

My name is G. W. Bush an I'm an alcoholic
Actual, I'm some guy frond a little town called North Bay Ontario.  BGII is possibly my favoite game, and definately my favortie for PC.  I enjoy listening to Led Zeppelin and babbling on and on about Led Zeppelin so much that people want to beat me to death with my own skull.  Also, I want to know if I'm the only one who misses the proficiency system from BGI where you didn't have to know exactly what items were to be found in the game to choose at the begining.  Stupid bastard swords...

Greeting, fellow humans. My name is James, and I've come for the food, but I'm staying for the mods.
I'm a big fan of all the modder's here (you rock JC!), and have (very) distant aspirations of learning to do it myself.
My other interests include;
Web Comics,
Baldur's Gate 2, and video games of all kinds,
Anything else that will help me avoid finding a real life <shudder>.

Anyways, though I'm a lurker by nature, I just couldn't resist joining such a cool community.

I have been with the old FWP site for  awhile and it’s about time I introduced myself.
My name is Moinesse which is one of four names, and not used very often.  I am a veteran of the United States Armed Forces.  I own and operate several business which keeps me away from home a lot with no time to learn modding.
My favorite past time is not game playing but dancing.  I have danced on stage as well as off in many different functions.  My Motto is: I’m dancing my way through life.  If I stop I’ll cry.

Why do I play BG2?  In memory of a very small young boy, who loved the game, loved to teach me the game while sitting on my knee and bouncing with joy.  I wish I could give more towards the BG communities. What I do is so little, but the only thing I have time for.   It’s a wonderful group, with wonderful people.  I am happy to be here.  Thanks.
I honor the place in you
