WELL, I'm back. Again.
Sorry for the "not being here". I'm sure all you old-timers missed the baby of the group (hahaha).
For those of you who I know have been absolutely WAITING with BATED BREATH, I'm done with my hiatus, and the Jailin NPC mod is beginning again!
YAY!
Oh, Rainbow Hitler, you're so dreeeeamy!

XD Thanks. I got it cause Tonks is my favorite character, and, like her, my hair changes colors as rapidly as hers does.

I already asked this question in Where's your nickname come from thread, but I think nobody knew the answer (not to the Where's your nickname come from question, but to the one that I gonna ask now):
Why are this thread and the Where's your nickname come from thread two separate threads?
And if yes, then do I have to say smth else here, or does my first post in the Where's your nickname come from thread count?

@two threads - i think it's a good idea - a new person may not feel like explaining his/her nick, and there are a lot of old people who never did the explaining and may want to - somehow it seems more organized this way to me.

Well, that's totally up to You, isn't it? I don't think there are rules of conduct, I'm sure most of the people here already now You, but it doesn't mean You can't introduce Yourself. :)

Kinda... too modest. So I can't. I thought someone would tell me what to say
   Gotta go now

So does it count here, my first post in Where's your nickname come from thread?
And besides, why are some users hidden and how do they do it? It's not that I'm going to hide, just curious

Hope you mean this: click the "profile" button at the top of the page, click on "Account related settings" (which is to the right) and untick "Show others your online status?"

Show others your online status
Why would I do "show others my online status" if I am not hidden anyway?

And what about my first question?

I've never introduced myself.  I just started running my mouth...err....keys.  And I'm still not going to introduce myself.

Hey, I'm Blackwing from Finland. I'm struggling to finish my thesis but instead I've found myself playing BG2. Excellent mods!

Favourite NPC: Kelsey. No, Solaufein. I can't decide and luckily I can have them both.  :D

Something weird about seeing someone with nearly 500 posts get welcomed to the forums...

Um, hello.  My name is William and I have an addiction to Baldur's Gate 2 and the mods people make for it.  I'm old enough to know better and smart enough not to care.  I don't make mods (yet) but I've played just about all of them.  I guess I've been lurking for years, at least since 2002.  I found this thread out of sheer boredom since there have been no progress reports in the Nalia Romance thread for a while.  This is frankly an amazing phenomenon and it speaks much for the games that folks are still interested in them even in these days of 3D and higher end computer games.

I'm mainly from Texas, currently in California, and migrating back to Texas shortly.

I've been a cop, soldier, sand blaster, truck driver, CATI programmer, student, and more... current plans are to conquer all the know universe but I may have to put that on hold until my second lifetime, after no more mods for BG2 are being made... ;)

For all you modders out there, thanks. :)

I have a very sexy learning disability.
