Ogg Format

Well I have some questions on this. I've been to the site, not very user friendly, what software do you download from there for mods?

Question two how do you use it? I may have to use this in a future mod.

WinLame from winlame.sourceforge.net is pretty easy to use.

As for the "how", SConrad has posted a tutorial around at a few places which does a pretty good job of outlining what you want to do. The basic version is:

Edit your WAV files
Compress them with WinLame into ogg format
Have your mod installer put the ogg files and oggdec.exe (available from various mods) into override
Have your mod installer call a batch file which calls oggdec.exe to decode the oggs back to WAV (again, examples to be found in various mods)
Have the batch file delete oggdec.exe and the .ogg files once that's done.
