In the original game when is was released on CD with 4 disc, Minsc Does indeed ask Nalia to be his witch. Aerie and Nalia are both options in the original game. I have been playing this game since I was a kid back when Tales of sword coast released. Nalia stopped being an option when the game moved to downloads. This was even before beam dog and steam, you could download. Only time Nalia became Minsc witch is when I played it on CD. Another thing that was added was the specialized classes. There was no options on the CD version just fighter, thief , mage etc. Also, there was no experience for finishing quest. The only experience you got was for killing monsters. No quest experience, no spell and thieving experience.
