So I was playing Tutu today with Arrokhar the NE male halforc Cleric-Thief, with party in tow and a might 11 CHR and 6 Reputation, and we blazed into Peldvale. Suddenly realising I could use a second Cleric in the party, I went off to Viconia...

... and after killing the Flaming First with her she said thanks and left. I was a bit puzzled I couldn't get her to join, since I'm a bona fide Evil type, so I opened up NI. :)

Turns out she has a check in her dialogue for ReactionLT(FRIENDLY_LOWER). I haven't had to deal with this sort of thing in the past - does anyone know about how Reaction categories work? Why won't Viconia join me?

I'm trawling the IESDP at the moment, but not found stuff yet, so thought I'd post.  :pirate

There's some sort of roll that the game makes.  I think there's a 2da that governs it, but I can't find it, since I'm not at my computer.  Anyways, it's sort of like a CheckStatGT(Player1,X,CHR), only has a bit of randomization in it, and how evil/good you are may affect it.  I can't actually recall.

Cheers. Kinda sucks evil NPCs won't join me because I am evil, though. I'll see if I can poke about.
