I can't reproduce the Sime issue. The only explanation I can think of is that you somehow blanked your weidu.log and installed the mod twice. (Or some other mod somehow interferes with it, but that doesn't seem likely.) If you're desparate for a fix, removing ppbodhi4.dlg from your override may do the trick. (Back it up just in case.)

I'm looking into the Edwin problem, but I can't offhand see why it'd occur.

And Edwin seems to be taking the ring just fine for me. I'm not sure what'd be causing the problem for you. I seem to recall that TDD broke actions dealing with items at some point-- do you have that installed?

I have the UB "Bodhi hunts you in Spellhold" component installed, and I get dialogue which I assume is from that mod when confronting her and vampiric Sime. Bodhi says something about me being slow. I've never seen this dialogue before, as escaping Spellhold does't exactly take long.

Sime and the other vampire die through normal combat. No slayer transformation occurs. Bodhi remains blue-circled and silent. When spoken to, she tells me "well done, now hurry and you might escape yet" or somesuch and turns into a bat, which leaves.

I've also got the Imoen romance installed this go-round (because I am a masochist, and try everything), and the entire Asylum has been slightly buggy, but I'm not sure what's causing it.

Okay, it's really been a field day for feedback. (Awesome!)

I'l try playing through Spellhold with UB and QP installed and check the Sime and slayer issues. If Imoen Romance is doing something obscurely horrible then my best proposal for now is "don't use it". :)

I just spotted something htta normally should not be. In the debt collector quest, I just saved the girl from the graveyard tomb. Then, I just head back to the slum to see what her mother have to say but I notice that she have a yellow circle under her feet for a while (it appeared after she got a beating but not before she asked me to find her child). Is there a way to restore her to a blue circle so I can continue the quest? I've tried to charm her, to ctrl-y her then resurect her (doesn't work at all), to sleep and see if that stop.

Don't know what to do. The last thing that could maybe work would be to kill her with ctrl-y then just make her spawn again. The problem is that I don't know what code I need to use with the clua to create her. Can someone help me about that thing?

I forgot, I have version 2.21 installed, where morale failure bug normally is removed.

Thanks for the advice. It didn't worked to use ctrl-r on her so I just killed her with ctrl-y then make her spawn back. then, she talked to me and finished that part of the quest. Everything is fine!

I have many similar instances of the following lines in my D0QUESTPACK.DEBUG file:

WARNING: cannot verify trigger ~!InParty("Edwin")~: Failure("lexing: empty token")
WARNING: cannot verify trigger ~!IsValidForPartyDialog("Yoshimo")~: Failure("lexing: empty token")
WARNING: cannot verify trigger ~!IsValidForPartyDialog("Yoshimo")~: Failure("lexing: empty token")

They all end with "Failure("lexing: empty token")".  I'm just wondering if this is normal (?) or if it will cause problems.  I'm using weidu 187.  The installation told me that everything successfuly installed, though.

Thanks....

Sim, have you tried Spellhold with UB and QP installed?  I'm wondering if it'd be best to uninstall 'Bodhi hunts you in Spellhold' for the time being.

Since I didn't spot this up to now: this was a bug in WeiDU v187 (entirely removed for 189).

Bigg, I get a similar problem when installing the Misc Enhancements component.  Here's the PM I sent to Sim a couple of days ago:

'When installing the above component, Weidu says this (there is more, but this is the jist of it):

WARNING: cannot verify action ~SetGlobal("D0OgresHelpPaladins","AR1100",5)
ActionOverride("uhogre05",EscapeAreaMove("ar1100",3179,696,14))~: Faliure("lexing: empty token")

Weidu does tell me that this component has been successfully installed, but I thought I'd let you know, anyway.'

I am using v189 of Wei/BiggDU.  Is this the same sort of problem that Kanain had?

The script looks correct. I'll try to investigate a bit more.

Ah, OK, checked. There is an error, however you left it out  :)

the error report was (I presume)
Quote
WARNING: cannot verify action ~SetGlobal("D0OgresHelpPaladins","AR1100",5)
EscapeAreaMove("ar1100",3228,721*,0)
ActionOverride("uhogre02",EscapeAreaMove("ar1100",3227,656,0))
ActionOverride("uhogre03",EscapeAreaMove("ar1100",3378,703,0))
ActionOverride("uhogre04",EscapeAreaMove("ar1100",3436,749,4))
ActionOverride("uhogre05",EscapeAreaMove("ar1100",3179,696,14))~: Failure("lexing: empty token")
and the error comes from the bolded '*'.

I already reported the bug in here: http://forums.pocketplane.net/index.php/topic,21507.0.html

Yeah, that's the exact error.  I did take a screenshot of the whole thing and offered to send it to Sim (but I don't think he's read my PM yet).  I just didn't fancy typing the whole thing out by hand.  That probably would've helped.   :)

I am not sure if this is a bug or not, but... something is a bit off with Jaheira romance. In an unmodded game, once the Xzar quest and the Bandit encounter are done with, Meronia spawns (outdoors) to summon Jaheira to the Harper Hold and start the whole Galvarey thing.

Now, I did Xzar quest (Meronia gave me the bird which I delivered to the unsuspecting Xzar - what a distasteful choice for the Good PC's!), and also the bandit quest - I also was outdoors at the time, and I thought Meronia should spawn immediately as she always does - but it didn't happen. Is it because of the Quest pack there are changes to this? Does siding with Harpers in the Xzar quest change something here?

Further info: I went to the Druid Grove and spawned Meronia (JAMERONI) and her dialogue with Jaheira proceeded normally. Jaheira left the group, BUT didn't escape area and remained standing there. I went to Athkatla and rested at the inn, Jaheira is supposed to rejoin the group after resting once and summon you to meet Galvarey. She didn't show up after the rest, I think she's still standing at the Druid GRove with a blue circle at her feet.

I uninstalled the Harper Quest component of this mod and the situation was resolved immediately. Meronia spawned immediately as I loaded the game (party in Trademeet) and summoned Jaheira, who left with her. One rest later, Jaheira returned to the party and told me I should go see Galvarey. So, uh, yes, you appear to have made quite a big mess on that Harper Quest. Sorry to say, but that really, REALLY sucked monkey balls.

Quest Pack adds a two-day timer before Meronia spawns. This is noted in the readme. I must decline ball-sucking this time around.

(I should mention that if there's still a huge outcry of "What the fuck, Ding0???", then yes, I can change this, since I've long forgotten why I did it in the first place. Clearly if it's causing confusion it isn't something I should be doing just for the fun of it.)

Oh, drat!

Anyway, yeah, I'm not sure I see the reason for the timer either. The romance already takes so long to complete, yet another timer on  it seems a bit unnecessary.

It really threw me the first time (apparently, reading the entire ReadMe when there's a new version is not a bad idea), but once I figured out there was just a delay, it made so much more sense that way.

Having Meronia spawn the instant the Xzar thing happens is a really a bit on the dumb side.

Also, Meronia spawning is always delayed a couple of days if you're romancing Jaheira. It's only instantaneous if you're not in the romance (also kinda stupid).

How about a delay that is less than a day?  Meronia DID just come from the Harper Hold, which is in Athkatla, and 6 hours or so can go by pretty fast.

Now, onto my problem.  When I exit the underdark with Nazariel's phylactery (I was beginning to think this was going to be a Kangaxx type quest), I successfully got the exp, the statement over my head saying I finished, and a completely stuck game.  Charname was supposed to follow the elf to go talk to General Solvidaas, but instead he just remained stuck in the cinematic state.  I had another problem with my cinematics during the Githyanki ambush when Kish comes to get the holy of holies, so I can only assume this has nothing to do with quest pack.  However, I think it might be a good idea to put a timer on Nazariel's phylactery disappearing or some other way to finish the quest (perhaps place it into his grave in the North Forest?).  My weidu.log is a mess, so I'm sure something in there is horribly messing up my game.  In fact, four of my scripts are entirely corrupt  :(.
