What beta version are we on now v34? (How safe is the latest version)

Although there may still be bugs in the beta version is it possible to release to the public a beta version esp since I'm reading that some testers are playing it ok.

After all as long as it has less bugs than some microsoft products we know maybe this is enough to rekindle interest/assistance with ironing out the bugs.

ps Especially if you've played it for 40 hours and are stuck on a bug!

But then again I also wish to win the lotery.

Seriously though... Everytime I play BG2 without the 3rd ed rules I think to myself, that maybe 1 day my suffering will end.

Yes, every time I reinstall the game, just for 3ed like playability I need to change all 2DA in the game end I always forget to zip the changes so I won't have to do it again 4-6 months later when I want to reinstall!
And those changes are major, like the xp from each and every monster, remove the limitations of weapons/classes and so on.

Give us iwgII as an open source!

This *has* been brought up rather often, and as you have seen it has not changed yet. I belive that if Weimer wanted to make it ioen beta by now he would have, and i fear more naging will only make for a negative view of the request.

But i to would love to be able to paly this, but i can wait... for now...

(anyone actually made any downloadable "almost 3E" packs for BG1 ? i have been working alittle upp and down with that myself. becose im rather tired of 2E myself)
