Is there any way to read the new epilogues online?
« on: March 06, 2004, 07:43:41 AM »
I recently installed Baldur's gate 2 and the expansion to play the ascension mod, mostly because I was interested in what the changed and new epilogues were -- epilogues have always been my favourite ending to books and movies :).

Anyway, I got about half way through Shadows of Amn when the game started screwing up interestingly. Given that I've just started Uni I can't really afford the time to find out what went wrong and play through a  160 hour game again so I was wondering if anyone could help me read the new epilogues without having to go through BG2 again!

Make sure the game isn't running.   Double-click on your baldur.ini file to open it in a text editor, and under Program Options, add the line,
Debug Mode=1
Close baldur.ini and save.  Go into the game, select a single NPC in the party, and press, I believe, CTRL-C.

You can download them at sorcerer's place or read them in the bg2\ascension\american\ascension.tra file
